Hello Sir,
I truly appreciate the informations provided in this post. Some were known where as some were unknown.

But, what I believe is though we have rich traditions, cultures & an amazingly long history of more than 1000 years, still we lagged behind those nations which even don't have a history of 500 years.

Looking into our history, any Indian without any doubt should & will feel proud to be an Indian but can the same person feel the same looking into our present?

Sir,

Its true that many of the world's most popular inventions are actually made by Indians. But we seldom got credit for our work.

Indians are few of world's smartest people. As your post rightly said many big organisations & institutions appoint Indians.

We are hearing since many years that India will be a super power after "n" number of years.
But when will India come ahead as a "Developed Country"?What is India lacking?

I think one of the reasons is Indian people's outlook, which is unfortunately (in case of majority)orthodox & backward

India is a country which nurtures culture, tradition & principles. But there is a thin line of difference between being "traditional" & being "orthodox".

We are also seeing "Brain Drain". Many Indians are settling abroad. Instead of working for their Motherland, they are working for a foreign country.Due to this India is losing talented people.

Its upto us to change India by changing our attitude.

India is a country of History, Culture, Tradition & Bravery. It has full potential to become a Well-Developed country. India has a strong foundation. It just needs we pillars.

Take pride in being an INDIAN !!!!
