Earn large sums of money ethically and become socially responsible citizen. I guess people will be very interested in this post as this connects with most people. They can take pride in earning money as they are doing a job of saving the world from terrorists. People will wonder how.
If everyone starts earning more than what they are earning at this point of time, the total amount of wealth in the planet remaining fairly constant (inelastic as we call in economics), more wealth with good people means less money at the disposal of the terrorists. So the terrorists get less amount to fund their projects. Eventually the terrorists activities will reduce. Any business runs with the help of finance and terrorism is no exception.
So next time people call you materialistic be happy that you are making a contribution towards the society.

HEY u have told people to earn money but you have not specified it in which way.. many people jus earn unfair means so if u are a responisible citizen than u need to earn money ethically and morally.... but ur this blog reflects tht after all u are a chartered;)......

Well ofcourse u will invest ur money so where is your money going obviously it will go to Terrorist by some means of another one of the means is Stock Markets.
If am not wrong just before the 9/11 attacks many markets around the world were having more of Put options buying (sorry for my Technical wordings)

Very nice point.You see If we earn less it makes it easy for them to earn and use the money. Now the proportion of money going to them will reduce to a large extent.
There will happen because everyone is earning more thats what i am saying. so there will be redistribution of wealth from these organizations to normal people.
I have mentioned the ideal scenario without tinkering around wat will actually happen
materialistic thinking will make the rich more richer and poor more poorer ....so this will eventually lead to terrorism!
all the anti-social activities happen not becoz they have surplus money at their disposal as funding instead they happen becoz of poverty,illiteracy,ignorance of knowledge etc.
I am talking about all of us earning more than wat we r doin at this point .so the gap between the rich and poor is same but the terrorists have lesser money with them.
How does this thinking make the rich richer and poor poorer??
Terrorism doesnt happen because of poverty. Other social problems like theft, murder, etc happens because of poverty.
Terrorists have a unidimensional thinking ( i guess ignorance of knowledge will be covered as knowledge is a very wide term).
Illiteracy the way it is defined I am sure the thief r also literate. We are talking about terrorists who are from the best education institutes.
In Mahabharata the master-mind was shri krishna but the war as a whole consist of many kings,solidiers etc..
so when u say the anti-social element it doesn't represent the only master-mind but also the whole junta who acts for the cause. when man is drawn to material things he will become selfish ...den how can u expect that person to b socially responsible ? jab khud se fursat mile to hi wo dusron ki parwah karega !
if ppl are educated and sane enuf to make proper decisions then our society will be a blissful place to live in.
i said by earning more u reduce the wealth in the hands of terrorists. i dont want to continue the debate. I am not asking anyone to do any socially responsible thingt but to earn more tht in itself is a social responsibility
